Mucoviscidosis (cystic fibrosis)

Children suffering from mucoviscidosis are treated at Charité in the Christiane Herzog Zentrum. The center has many years of experience in therapy for these chronic illnesses and by its own activities and research works for constant improvement of the therapeutic options and treatment in accordance with guidelines. The Christiane Herzog Zentrum, as certified dual centre, serves to treat patients of all age groups with pediatric and internal pneumologists.

  • Strict segregation of patients according to pathogenic spectrum
  • Sweat test
  • Training of patients and relatives
  • Transplantation preparation and subsequent care for children and adults
